Dr. Caitlin Stormonth, DVM

DVM

Dr. Caitlin joined the Bathurst Animal Hospital team in 2017. Since then, she has delighted in meeting many clients of the hospital and their furry companions.

Dr. Caitlin grew up in both rural Maryland, U.S.A. and southern Ontario. If you asked her what she would be doing when she grew up, it’s very likely that conservation biologist would share the spotlight with veterinarian. She has been passionate about the care and stewardship of all species since she was very young. Now, she loves looking after people’s beloved cats, dogs, and exotic pets.

Dr. Caitlin has a passion for internal medicine, feline-friendly practice, hospice and palliative care, and diagnostic imaging. In her spare time, you can find her skating poorly at Nathan Phillips Square, exploring Toronto neighbourhoods in search of good food and coffee, or volunteering at trap-neuter-release clinics for feral cats. She enjoys squash and running, especially outdoors. She shares her home with two cats, an orange tabby named Lucy and a tortoiseshell tabby named Zoey, and a small snake named Basil.
