DIAGNOSTIC and THERAPEUTIC:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

SURGICAL:  Our surgery suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. We are equipped with a CO₂ laser surgery unit which allows us to
perform chosen procedures with less pain and quicker healing.

ANESTHESIA:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or higher-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment,
the patient's vital signs are monitored before, during and immediately after all anesthetic procedures.

RADIOLOGY:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment with automatic processing allow us to provide your pet with rapid, high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many
disorders. We also offer access to a radiologist who comes onsite as required to perform diagnostic ultrasounds and assist with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.

BEHAVIOURAL CONSULTATIONS:  Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. More pets are euthanized in this country for behavioral problems than for any physical disorder.
Behavioral consultations may be scheduled for the development of a behavior modification program for your pet's particular problem. We can provide advice regarding the correction
of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY:  We provide ECG services on-site. We are also equipped to transmit ECGs online to facilitate consultation with cardiologists.

DENTISTRY:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery.

LABORATORY:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite identification. We also extensively utilize commercial
reference veterinary laboratories for specialized testing and consultations.

GLAUCOMA SCREENING: With our state of the art applanation tonometer, we are able to quickly and easily screen for this multifactorial disease which causes a rise in pressure within
the eyeball. Untreated glaucoma may lead to blindness.

PERMANENT IDENTIFICATION: We offer microchip detection, implantation and activation services.

PHARMACY:  We maintain a broad inventory of pharmaceuticals, nutraceticals, shampoos, parasite-control products and heartworm preventives to meet the needs of your pet.
We also carry a full line of prescription diets. We have access to compounding pharmacists who are able to create customised medications to suit specific patient situations.

INDIVIDUALIZED FLEA CONTROL PROGRAMS:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the
best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

DIET COUNSELING:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

BOARDING:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. We are well-equipped to provide short- and medium-term care
to elderly or chronically ill pets especially those who require medication. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

BATHING and GROOMING:  Routine and therapeutic bathing and grooming services are available.

EMERGENCY CARE:  After-hours care is capably provided at either of the two Veterinary Emergency Clinic locations in Toronto. After your pets' discharge from either facility, the emergency
staff will promptly communicate with us about the details of your pet's care.

HOSPICE/EUTHANASIA SERVICES: Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is always difficult. We work compassionately with our clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services
include taking in-home euthanasia and arranging for care of the pet's remains as directed by the family.
